Do you feel slabbing of some current coins has gotten out of control?

I ask because of seeing this, a NGC dollar coin slabbed as 'Brilliant Uncirculated'

heck, I can still get those at my bank for $1 (without the slab, and first day of issue designation)

Yeah, most of it's junk...but don't tell that to the people who collect it! As long as people pay for it, the companies will keep slabbing it. Oh well.
