First ill say sorry for saying i was a yn
a thread asking yns about what they collect read 18-25
naturally i figured at 25 i could respond
second the reason i ask opinions is to get a feel for what is being collected right now
i was intrested in the platnium set strickly as a investment tool
if i have upset anyone by saying i was a yn sorry but lets move on
i was only curious what people were thinking about a few certain coins
if im in the wrong place for this type of information cool
where is that place?
if anyone is unsure of who i am or what i am about
i am a 25 yr old collector investor.
i ask questions about coins to find out info i didnt know
i do know a fair amount because i have had 2 years in a wheel chair and another 2 yrs on cruches cains and other devices.
i am a full time dad and a full time collector.
id like to go pre but am ONLY a collector now.
if you are intrested in responding fine
i like talking coins and hearing coin stories
with that said

I have a cousin who does this, it's hard work and quite dangerous. My cousin has lost a few fingers but fortunately nothing else.
I don't think there is a credibility problem at all.
Anyone who's 25 would certainly consider him/herself young. But the original poster Ahooka454 might not know that the term "YN" in numismatics generally refers to someone 18 or under. The YN's get discounted membership in ANA, special programs for young and/or beginning collectors, occasional free stuff donated by others, special scholarships, etc.
So IMO the only issue here is different definitions for the term "YN". I think this should end this debate.
Edit to add: Someone mistook my age for 38 the other day. But I do not consider myself a YN.
