2007 P ROOSEVELT 10c PCGS MS70FB!!! ~SATIN FINISH~

It's hard to pick someone, so we've listed this unique coin for everyone to have the same opportunity at it:

2007 P ROOSEVELT 10c PCGS MS70FB!!! ~SATIN FINISH~

The funny thing is that the 07P in MS69FB is a very difficult coin to come by, so a 70FB is not only the 1st ever, it's not expected to exist!

Thanks Zach! It's hard to keep the coin dealer hat on and be willing to sell it.

I'm half tempted to pop this one off just to get you dime guys all riled. Would this then count as an "actual" coin or is modern coinage just one step above bullion? image

I just made a very respectable offer to Seth which he is strongly consdering. Even though JHF is selling off his dime sets, it's still not too late to buy him a "stocking stuffer" for the holidays.

I already said I might do a Buy It Now so you might want to up the antie. image

Just kidding. I did have a glass of Port after lunch and I was pretty darn tempted just because it is so unique but I don't want people to start calling me a "coin" collector. I'm just a bullion round eagle collector, barely one notch above the Franklin Mint, (no offense brothers), and I might be tempted to crack the slab and slide it across the pavement. image

I just grabbed my bottle of 30 year old port and may just have a glass or two with lunch while I ponder my revised offer as well. image

Mas - What would you like the Price Guide to be on this dime? I'll pass it along on Monday for you.

  • We have accepted an offer publicly visible through the listing in the amount of $6,500.00. The buyer's name is private until they decide to disclose their ownership of the coin. I'm sure the price guide will reflect the sale price and if/when the coin ever shows for sale someday will likely amaze us with a new price level.

Thank you again to everyone who placed their most generous offers. image

Seth congrats on the price for the coin. I truly believe that it will stay high and should be a good investment for the buyer. Must have been fun to be the keeper of that beauty even if only for a week or two!!

  • Thank You Ken. The price guide definitely needs public sales such as this to gain better accuracy.

Congratulations Seth on making a wonderful and unique coin. You sold the coin
for right around what I valued it at. I'm sure the new owner will be very pleased
with it. I also want to commend you on the way you handled the sale of the coin.
It is very difficult pricing these unique coins.

This is truly remarkable and testament to the efforts made by the mint
    to improve quality.

I'd have never imagined 20 years ago that any clad coin would ever be
    graded MS-70.

    Congratulations to all involved.

    Coinfame,

Congrats again on a fine score. It really helps knowing that a 70FB can be made, and opens the door for another possible make in the future. Of course I understand the anonimity behind such a deal, but I for one would really like to know where the coin went too. I, as a Roosie collector try to keep a memory of who, what, where, why and how on some of the elusive Clad Roosies just for my personal use. So in saying that, I hope the coin surfaces.

Let me know if you get anymore of the 9FB for this coin in please!

    Later, Paul.

    Later, Paul.
