1890 CC Dollar Question.

Hello again, I bought a 1890 Carson City Morgan dollar at a country auction. It looked Au Maybe Bu. I sent it into Icg for slabbing and it came back in a piece of plastic stating coin has been cleaned.

Now here is my question. I only paid $80.00 for it, is there anyway I could clean it the right way and maybe have it slabbed? Or should I did a hole in my back yard put it in the ground and try to have it slabbed in a year or so? Help!! Yaha

Can you post a picture of it? If it got bagged for cleaning at any grading service, then there is probably no helping it to get slabbed. Why not just put it in a coin album to enjoy looking at in the future?
  • Pictures are necessary to make a judgement,

but please, don't go out and bury it in the yard.

How do you put coin pics on here, I have a digital camera, but not to hip on computer stuff. I only know how to upload my coins onto ebay from my pictures folder. Can I do it the same way here? Yaha

Also It is a keeper, I love slabbed coins!! I have many slabbed coins from ICG.NGC.PCGS.

Open a photobucket account at: Photobucket.com. It is free. The you can load the pic from your Pictures or Document folder into
the photobucket account. Then just highlight and copy the bottom "IMG Code" and paste it into here. Hope that helps. Do a practice
on the testing forum (below the U.S.Coin Forum next to Navigation).

You could carry it as a pocket piece for a couple years then get it slabbed as a circulated coin.
