Can you help me identify this gold colored token/medal?

The item has a diameter of 0.82 inches
and a weight of 3.45 grams
and medal alignment
it looks prooflike and has some latin or something written on it

It's a German medal. Someone asked about a similar one with JFK and Adenauer on it before. There's also an RFK one. All have the same reverse, I believe. There were a couple of ebay auctions I linked to for reference when the topic last arose, unfortunately they are all long since dead. It didn't seem to be terribly uncommon, so a good googling should give you some more current leads.
