I dont whether to be happy or sad. Been collecting these for about 10+ years so I have a bunch which is good but I still want to buy. I guess just less now.

That chart makes the early dates in VF looks like a bargain.

And sadly I only own one. It's a beautiful 1822, but I don't know if she'll ever have a friend from her own series...maybe I should start saving!

It's waaaay past time that the price sheet caught up with the market IMO.

Very eye appealing original VF's are awesome for the prices! Let's not tell anyone they are going up in all the other grades.....shhhhhh

p.s. oh, and Doh, you can send that '22 to me, I'll give it a nice home with her sisters.

It's about time. For the last 6 to 8 months you haven't been able to touch a RAW XF to AU mid-teens date for the PCGS listed prices let alone a certified one.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.
  • ouchie...there goes my chances to steal more bust halves.

I wonder if the dealers are busy changing prices.

I wish these would start to follow other coin series and at least level off in price.

I've been over paying for these beauties for the past 6 months......the busties remind me of tempting "Sirens" drawing you in to their lair.

Not really I have been bidding and lousing at those figures lately.

I believe the PCGS retail price increases were the direct result of the Don Willis collection sold last month by B&M. Typical PCGS Bust Halves will not bring the same high prices realized on Don's beautifully toned PCGS 58s.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

Would you sell me your 1839-O for the pcgs price guide price?

<< <i>Again a pq one in pcgs plastic is reasonable to believe would go for pcgs price guide money but most shouldn't. >>

PQ examples have been going at and above the new posted levels for the last six months. It is the solid for the grade but not exceptional coins that are going at this level now.

How about my checkbook? All I can go by are the coins I see and the prices I am quoted, admittedly.

PCGS 58 Bust Halves that have eye-appeal bring more than what is listed for PCGS 60 pricing. PCGS 58s often look as good as typical MS 62s.
