  • << <i>Since my eBay feedback is now creeping up on 700 (at 698 and due to rise any day, with all the stuff I shipped out recently), I thought I would do a silly little cheap giveaway.

Post here once to be in the drawing.

The winner will be selected by random number generator after I notice I've crossed the 700 threshold.

Winner will receive a $7.00 eBay/PayPal gift certificate, or seven bucks PayPal-ed directly from me.

(Woohoo! Party on, huh? Good ol' LordM- last of the big spenders!) image

My feedback page, for countdown purposes >>

Lord- I'm in- but if I win- I want you to donate 7.00 worth of coins to my Grab Bag that is posted in the Coin Swap- can ya handle that?

I broke the one post entry rule... Darn it! Why isn't LordM a titanium power seller? 50K feedback at a penny each would be a PayPal payday that I could really do something with! As a sideline though since I posted twice, I am going to host a give-a-way of my own. I am now over 400 posts here and have over 500 eBay feedbacks so about 900 total... The silver value on my give-a-way is about 9 bucks depending on the silver market...

There is a twist to this give-a-way. You have to give something back to somebody... It can be 50 2X2's, a coin worth a couple bucks, a magnifying glass of some sort (we all have at least one lying around that we don't use anymore). How about a decent used stapler? Whatever you have worth a couple bucks to give to a YN trying to get into the game. Think back when you were young and what YOU needed or wanted... Since I hijacked LordM's give-a-way to launch my own, I will let him pick the winner. Who ever he wants, a random number, a favorite poster, or a YN of his choice. He decides who gets your gift and then you get mine... Let's build on this one! 'Tis the season you know! I will contribute to other YN's you know in any small way that I can, it may not be big but I will give a little something to any YN's gift basket anyone is building a package for... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!

Rick, your second post won't mess things up, because, as it happens, it was the final one before we hit the magic number.

    *ding*ding*ding*

    700!

I notice I also just hit 1001 for my total positives.

What is interesting is that the magic number was acquired by feedback from one of two buyers I had in Australia. Wow, that stuff flew across the globe pretty fast!

Anyway, the random number gods just smiled upon...

    BunchOBull!

BunchOBull, PM your email address to me, so I am sure to have the right one, and don't gimme no bull about it!

Since Rick entrusted me with the selection of his add-on giveaway, I once again consulted the random.org oracle, and this time, the lucky individual is...

    ASUtodd!

Since you two are fellow German coin enthusiasts, I'm sure you'll work things out nicely between yourselves.

Thanks, one and all. Stay tuned for the LordM 1000 giveaway. At my current rate of activity that could take two years, but if I step up the pace and list more auctions, it might get here sooner than we think. Since 1000 feedback on eBay is the "red star", you can bet that this giveaway will be a nice Soviet coin, perhaps one of those pretty 1924 roubles, maybe... in keeping with the "Order of the Red Star" theme.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. I've got 300 to go on eBay before that milestone happens. I might even hit 40K posts on Collectors Universe first.

    Thanks again LordM!

We all know how great of an addition he is to these boards, and this giveaway is just another reflection of that.

I'll post on what great eBay buy I make with my $7!
