I'm still tempted to go but trying to figure out where to stay....haven't been there in years.
(Well, did take the family to Disneyworld after FUN'05 but stayed at Disney that time)

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

You guys stop by and say hello to Jim Miller of Miller's Coins and Currency. He will be right beside the big pillar in the center of the convention center. He used to be my local dealer but has moved closer to Savannah.....oh yeah, buy a bag of panning dirt from him and see how much Gold you get. He seeds it just right.

    Man...now I am rethinking FUN....
If I go, the wife wants to go to visit a high school/college friend in Miami.
That means the kid goes too (DisneyWorld).

Tickets are ~$500 each (unless I jump through hoops and take connections with long layovers (not fun to do with a kid)).
That would take out $1500 just in flight fare, before even figuring in the rental car, the hotel, the food, etc....

Now, I am not sure image

And, from what I remember in Feb '06, Long Beach sucked.

Maybe I do wait for Arizona...

I just checked and found numerous fares under $300rt. SEA / MCO with decent times. Layovers under 2hrs. Rooms and cars are cheap in Orlando.

I was checking a lot of those last night too...thanks for looking.

Problems I saw on a few....less than 3 seats available.
Flying through Chicago/Philadelphia... (not going to risk weather conditions on layovers in those areas)
Dates we would have to go.... 1/9-1/13
Again, remember I am flying with a young one, while not an infant, he is young enough to not tolerate long delays/hassles. That's part of the issue as well.

aren't there two Crabtrees? Brothers maybe? One has all the crust in albums, the other not so much.

Yes there are 2 Crabtrees, but they're not crabby in person. image

Tom and Jim CRABTREE are great freinds and they have great coins and they are very fair and great to deal with.
