Sac with edge lettering still illusive?

Latest Market Report mag from pcgs (page 20) states that there have been a few fake sacs with edge lettering but the real McCoy hasn't show up yet. Anyone know if this is correct. Seems one was found in circulation and publicized. Was it eventually deemed to be fake?
