    Hard to tell the luster, but you say it is a scan, so the luster would not show much. I like the toning, and the strike for the patched 3 variety. Don't see wear. I am suspicious that PCGS undergraded this Bustie. If the luster is sufficient, I think PCGS would normally grade this one a minimum of AU 58.

    This is definitely a coin I would like to place in my collection.image
    I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

    I absolutely love the goldish/coppery highlights near the rim- that is a spectacular looking bustie- where'd you get it?

    Very nice and not to much for wear, maybe it was the ding or chip in the cap?
    And maybe a little strike weakness.
    I've noticed in your scans, the orange color that comes up with the luster.
    Is that what the coin in hand looks like?
    Overall a very lovely addition !

    I have no idea what that is. I don't see when I am looking at the coin with a 10x.
