88 Morgan, die gouge through cotton boll. help?

Found this the other night cherrypicking myself. Pretty neat. I still get excited when I find something I've never seen on my coins before.
Thanks for looking.

VAM-16A. Used to be VAM-26 until a year ago when it was noticed to be a later state of VAM-16. Hot-50 coin anyway, though it is not among the DDR ones PCGS does yet for some reason. (Some of the 1889 doubled ears are in the same boat.)

The finest I have seen were two NGC MS66. I sold one and kept one. Actually lost money on the one I sold even though I cherried it for about common $$$. NGC-graded coins around gem can do that to you, especially VAMs when the right buyers aren't around.
