1866 Confederate States Coupon Bond.

Hi everyone, I know this is a coin forum and I am a new member, but I found a few cool items while cleaning out the boxes of my late Grandfather. I had these suckers in storage for over a year, In one box I pulled a AU/bu Confederate $500 Bond Coupon $15 dollar interest payable numbered 1,558. Many morgans in bu condition, the rarest coin was a GSA 1885 CC, plus a few gold gaudens and Kugerands. Many other Confederate buckles, patches etc. Where would I find out the value of this Confederate Bond? Thanks for any help, Yaha

Sounds like some pretty neat stuff I can't really assist as I have never heard of the bonds but there isn't much you can't find by searching the internet

Hi, ask in the Currency Forum. There are a couple CSA collector/dealer types that should know.

I have the $500 bond with $20 coupons still attached....value $100 to $200.

You have just the coupon? I'm guessing $5 - $10. This type of CSA material is quite abundant.
