#2 NGC MS65 Prooflike 1795 $5

Coin #1 sold for $345K at last year's FUN. I don't know anything of #2s provenance.

    I'm not that picky when it comes to the 1795 $5 coins. Either one will do.

    I'd rather have the prooflike coin - something about proof finish from the 1700's is just too darn cool. image

    Obviously their reasoning is that there are two 65s at PCGS and the 65s at NGC would only be 63s at PCGS. image

    I really would not be buying a $250k-$500k from a auction picture....but offhand the NGC looks more original

    If they would knock a couple of zeros off the price tag I would be all over it. I like the clean look of the PCGS 64 myself.
