Yup... there's one coin that I bought, sold, and bought back. I've since replaced it (again) so it's returned to a state of being up for grabs.

Almost- I was out bid. I think I was the under bidder. ... My bid was for significantly more than I sold it for about 2 years earlier.

I almost had that happen last month. I bought a medal a year ago and sold it a month or two later for $35. It showed up on eBay, and sold for $35 on eBay. At least I know that I valued it properly when I sold it the first time! image

There are two or three coins in a complete set I sold that I dearly wish I would have kept and would go in debt if I had to in order to get them back. image

No, and I'd like to think I never would.

  • I tried unsuccessfully to win back a Toned Morgan I had sold.....but was outbid in the end. I think the reasons you sold the coin have a lot to do with whether you would like to reacquire the piece. Many of us have had to liquidate collections due to financial resons including divorce in my case so it wasn't a lack of quality or eye appeal that caused me to selloff my collection image
