Got two for you to look at, and give your opinion as to Vams or too small to list.First one 1921-P,with Die Chip or break over E in one,second one 1899-O with Knob or die gouge under the I in pluribus between wheat leaves.What do you think?

But I thought you said you sucked at taking pictures....been praticing?.. those 2 are dandy close-ups..

Too small to list. Sent that one to Leroy a while back. I could look up the letter to see if he VAM'ed it otherwise though. Probably was just a generic VAM-3 or something like that.

Here is my write-up to him: "1921-P Break at top of E of ONE. G in motto has fill but the break is deeper than the letter itself and extends into the letter."

Thanks for the answer on the 21-P.Any info. on the 1899-O? Also,QX5 for close ups are easy,it's when i go the digital camera,AH! that's another story. Thanks.

Yeah, I have an example of the 21-P as well. On mine, there is an impression to the left of the die chip. It matches the size and shape of the raised area.
