    FDC= Fleur de Coin.

Sort of an old school term for Uncirculated. Still used in Europe.

Except the coins this seller has listed are in large part cleaned/whizzed and retoned sliders.

  • Someone purchased this 1910 from him on 10-23 for $350.67. Leaves feedback "interesting coin, I like it thank you"

Someone paid $1,624.99 for a 1907-O Half...Leaves this neutral "This coin I paid 1600 for is cleaned, hairlined, and slightly worn......I Lose"

THEN, follow's up with "my feedback should have been positive".

Also, buyer who leaves positive feedbacks on Oct. 5, has all the Morgans he bought BB'd by NGC (for improper cleaning, enhanced surfaces, etc.) and leaves negative follow-ups. Interesting stuff.

  • I see he even took centsles...got a neutral feedback???

  • Almost forgot.......centsles left him a neutral on 10-9 for an 1894-S Barber Quarter ($1,576.51)......."COIN BETTER IN SCAN THAN IN PERSON!"

Some of his coins do look pretty good, though, like this Large Cent, some of the SLQ's, Oregon Trails, and Buffalo's. Some strange feedback, though. Not sure what to make of it all.

Wow. Until now I never knew there was a Follow-up feedback option.

This CU is the best. I learn something new every day.
  • Looks tome that this seller is going to get a bad rep soon- there is no return policy on this becuz his ded granddaddy's estate won't allow it...

So NGC bags a batch of his coins- and the buyers leave a positive- what a crock of crap- the seller is scum and many folk are buying into it.

I'm really tempted to go ahead bid/win one of these auctions and then send it in to PCGS and see what the outcome is- and NOT post a feedback until the coin does come home (which aint far away now folks)

I get the feeling a majority of the bidders are shills- just to much of a setup when you see all the positive/negative comments in this sellers feedback.

    Seller, feedback, and coins.
Everything you look at here is puzzling.
    Are all these coins doctored?

What`s up with the $1600 Barber half? Her cheek looks like it had surgery. Why buy a coin that looks like that.
  • The guy has built up a name for himself on ebay. All his stuff, regardless of how nice or how junky, now brings mega premiums.

Please do! But it's gonna be expensive!

My feelings exactly! Where else can a set of 32 IKEs in a Dansco get this kind of bidding with 3 days left to go?

    I guess right here!

Here's what real bidders usually bid.

This guy has been selling his "MY INHERITANCE " with this baloney about the "all sales final as estate settlement does not allow for returns" and absolutely no recourse for the buyer due to "Payment by Money Order, Cashier's/Certified Check, sorry NO PAYPAL or credit cards"!

One thing I did notice was the:

<< <i>Please do not use Ebay Checkout or request totals until after this group of listings close, we will invoice you promtly >>

We?? I got the distinct impression it was just him.

It looks like this person has a winning scam going!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

The age old "Grandpa's Coins" schtick. In the eBay world, all grandfathers had extensive - nearly unlimited - collections of wonderful, fresh coins.

FDC means more than uncirculated. It means gem in most world circles doesnt it?
