Possilby a Candian Large cent???? The older ones from the 1800's say "Victoria Dei Gratia Regina" around the obverse outer edge. Also looks like a young queen picture on the front. Just from what I see I'll say it is a 1858 or 1859 Candian Large Cent...

Forgot to say..... It's about the size of a US dime... and I'd guess is silver.

Oh, yeah that helps some!!! Then I would say a 1858 Canadian five or ten cent piece. Five cent piece will be 15.5 MM in diameter and wiegh 1.16 grams and the 10 cent will be 18.00 mm in diameter and weigh 2.32 grams.

Why would you say 1858, specifically?

I can't read a date on it, but it's definitely a circa 1858-1901 Canadian 10c piece. Struck in Sterling (.925 silver).

    Here's a 1901 I just sold.

    LM-

Thanks for putting up the picture. I was wondering what it looked like. Imagine how many pockets this thing has been in...
