Crossover Submission results
I recently submitted 6 IKEs for crossover at the Santa Clara Coin Show last month.
Results:
Line # Item # Cert # PCGS No. CoinDate Denomination Variety Country Grade
1 1 13322787 ....7407 1971-D $1 US DNC ............. Is an NGC MS66 FEV RDV-006
2 1 13322788 ....7407 1971-D $1 US MS66..............Was an NGC MS66 FEV RDV-006
3 1 13322789 ....7407 1971-D $1 US MS66..............Was an NGC MS66 FEV RDV-006
4 1 13322790 ....7407 1971-D $1 US MS66..............Was an NGC MS66 FEV RDV-006
5 1 13322791 ....7407 1971-D $1 US MS64..............Was an ICG MS64 FEV RDV-006
6 1 13322792 148405 1971-S $1 Silver US MS64......Was an ANACS MS64 DDO-006 Pegleg
No attributions on the FEP's as PCGS does not attribute these. Yet!
The ANACS coin which used to look like this:

now looks like this:

It lost the DDO attribution but when PCGS starts recognizing these, will get it back. To date, only two have been attributed under the FS numbers from the Cherry Pickers guide. This MS64 and one other.
An interesting yet frustrating thing occured with the ICG coin. It crossed and as you can see received a certification number.
But when I opened the package from PCGS, the coin was still in the ICG slab!

So........... back it goes as a mechanical along with the appropriate documentation to get it put into the correct slab. (sigh)

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I just cracked out 7 NGC and 1 ANACS coin. I will have to post the results in a month when they get graded.
Nice Job!

Edit to add : "NOW", to the end of my question.
Makes me wonder if, for some coins, crossovers are not much more than validations like CAC is doing.
