No posts on the 7th so far

Things are slowing down here with snow on the ground. I'm glad that it's not here for 4 or 5 months like it is some places.

Maybe someone has talked about this before but I ask anyway. If you hunt in a light drizzle or mist what do you use to cover up your detector with? Or do you not take a chance and not hunt.

  • a clear zip-loc freezer bad and some duct tape....you can see through the bag and read the display, works well....i have spent hours out hunting in a steady rain and the unit was bone dry.....get out, get wet, and find some goodies...hh
