How many of you find yourself doing this? (Or, you know you're a coin geek when...)

You know you're a coin geek when every time you type a word that begins in c-o-n-, like construction, congratulations, consolation, contribution, etc., you subcoinciously stick an "I" in there and type c-o-i-n instead of c-o-n.

The subcoincious mind at work. Funny, huh.

  • It is worse than that for me. I took a programming class this semester and I typed coin instead of void more than I typed void. I guess that tells where my mind wanted to be.image

I'm so used to typing "coingratulations" on this forum that when I sent a work friend a congratulation email on a promotion it was full of "coingratulations". Thank God for spell check. image

I think from now on I will just leave it that way when I type it.

I wouldn't wanna cointradict my subcoincious mind, after all.

Back in 1988 when I was learning REXX code on a VM Platform (don't ask!) every 10th line I would type was HELP

To this day, I still cannot type the word "held" without inadvertantly typing "help" and having to backspace and correct it!

I also just realized that when I "read" this thread title: Poll: Will The Dolley Madison First Spouse Gold ever sell out??????

I see: Poll: Will The Doiley Madison First Spouse Gold ever sell out?????? image
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I knew I was a coin geek when I told girls it was my hobby and they stopped dating me.
