I know we are getting close to the New Year when I start to think about my workout schedule and lifting weights. It's not to shed the extra holiday pounds put on by eating Christmas cookies and attending endless Holiday parties with people who I'd rather not associate with. Rather, I get prepared to clean and jerk that enormous box of Heritage FUN catalogs that arrive on my doorstep. Each year I hope that Mrs. L. will carry it in for me, but it seems that I always have to be the one to bring it into the house.

Does anyone know when we can expect the BIG delivery of these catalogs? It is usually a highlight for me, and it is the kickoff of the new numismatic year when it arrives.

They will likely hit the mailbox a couple of days before Xmas.

Last year, I got them delivered on Xmas day!!!

I have been lifting for over 30 years. Never thought of catalogs as a reason to do it.

One of my neighbors' son is a lineman on the football team. I have already contracted with him to schlep in the box it when it arrives. He will also open it and take out the contents. I am surprised that you have not also thought to outsource this overly strenuous task. image

I'm looking forward to the catalogs arriving. I've got a few Morgan dollars listed this go around.

All of you Morgan collectors bid big just in case a couple of them are mine. image

My 7 yr old son insists on carrying all the boxes of catalogs. They really are a pretty good load for him. And he also trys to carry the huge boxes of padded envelopes and packaging materials I order online. They aren't too heavy for him but he literally can't get his arms around them to grab both ends. ---jerry
