Hardware/Software to catalog 300K + cards HELP PLEASE!

Last month I purchased over 320,000 baseball cards in unopened packs and boxes which span about 18 years roughly from 1975 - 1993. Dropped off the first 250 to PSA yesterday!

As I have been opening up the cards I have placed them into card savers and into 3200 and 5000 count storage boxes.

Once sort in sequential order I have been using checlists online to then upload data to a spreadsheet and so on for getting the info into some sort of a collective digital order.

I have taken all complete sets, packed them up and put them away for now.

For the incomplete sets, cards that I am not grading, and all other cards in general I need a simplified process of getting this info to the computer and also scanning in the cards.

I have seen many poorly designed software programs where I can load in my own pics and data, but nothing wth a built in database that does not require me to build in all the cards information. For the images I know my large format scanner is not going to work as that could take months to get in there and I cant have that, really. I had someone mention a document scanner but it was $3000 and I cant do that either. I think today my budget stands at about $1000 for a scanner and thats more than I really want to spend.

Can any of you suggest some methods, tools, hardware, or software which can help me with this task?

Thank you very much in advance for your time and input,

Bill
