How Does This Happen?

So, I'm looking at all the Lincolns to be auctioned today on Teletrade. There is a 2007S PR70. That is what the slab says and the Teletrade description states it's a 2007S PR70. The image didn't look that way to me, so I clicked to enlarge it. Sure enough, the coin is a 2006S. I realize mistakes are common and we all make them. But, how can this mistake get past two companies and many employees. Seems to me, this just shouldn't happen. Is this a common event? My slabs have always had the correct insert that matched the coin. Well, just be careful today, if you're shopping for a 2007S PR70 Lincoln.

I saw a Mercury dime (43-D I think) mislabeled like that and the dealer actually wanted more for it because it was an error!
I wasn't interested in the first place. I'm sure PCGS would have wanted it back. I should have reported him to PCGS for trying to profit from their mistake.
the seller would want ti get it fixed if it meant more value to him
- assuming he did more than just read the slab

I just recently bought a Kennedy half 1964-D Tripled Die Obverse at TT. Looking in the Cherry pickers guide I thought it was a (013.5), but when I received it I noticed it was a QDO (013.6) I knew the PCGS price guide for the TDO was $175 and I was going to have to go a little more to get it. I am happy with the grade and coin just disappointed the TDO was a top pop and the QDO has 1 in MS66. Now I just need to pay $15 and send it in to get it fixed noting the correct FS#.

Thanks for the heads up, I know who won this coin and have notified them of the mistake. I didn't look at the auction picture, but the winner which is a friend of mine told me he had won it. It is amazing how it does escape everyone even the bidders.
