$405 for an MS68 1976-S Washington UPDATE: Another at $464

I suspect the registry sets are doing this. I thought this would go in the $250 range.

Perhaps the bidder is an "angry dwarf" because of how high he had to go to get the coin.image

I'm addicted! I saw a newly listed MS68 1976-S 25c with B-I-N for a cheaper price. I walked away, saying this is too much... but it called me back, and I took it for $325 delivered. There were 5 bidders at $300 or above on that last one....

  • Wow, that's alot of dough for a Bicentennial piece. I was winning a MS68 76-S Washington a few months ago till R & I sniped me on it, and my high bid was $75. I can't imagine paying that much for a 76-S, but that's my opinion.

I may sell this one... while I need it for my set, I hope to slab my own! I figure it will be a sure money maker with those strong bids.

Don't feel bad. There was a BIN on a 1976-S Kennedy in MS68 with a pricetag of $450.00. It had only been listed moments before (it was the first coin showing on the "new today" listings) and by the time I entered by eBay name and password the coin had been bought right out from under me!

The day has come: SNIPPED on a BIN!
