The Pats Defense Is Starting To Look Old...

I'm not a Steelers fan or a Patriots Basher, but Willie Parker will probably get the ball 35-40 time next week. The Patriots defense looked very frustrated during Monday night's game. I don't think I've ever seen Tom Brady as frustrated as he was in his post game meeting with the press.
There are two types of people in this world; those who like Neil Diamond, and those who don't. My ex-wife loves him!!

  • The Pats d is not performing like they did the first half of the season. Hopefully last nights game was an eye opener for them.
  • thats because they are old image seasoned, well preserved...petrified!

Well, in defense of Brady, they (well, one reporter anyway) WERE starting to ask a lot of stupid questions. I mean, the guy had taken a beating all night, want's to get out of there to recuperate, and he's getting questions about what gifts he's buying for his son whom they know he can't see for most of the year. I don't see any reason why Brady or anyone else for that matter, to placate to the tabloid media.

Brady did look frustrated and, if teams keep coming after him (which is likely) and they keep throwing the ball that many times, it will take its toll by January.
  • I think the whole team is starting to look a little tired out.

Speaking of defense, does anyone else think the Pats wasted a first round pick with Brandon Meriweather? The guy can't seem to do anything and in his one chance to play, he dropped fairly easy ball on a punt return.

I was thinking about the same thing. Before last night, I hadn't heard one word about him this year...
