Can you specify "min grade" on raw?

I know you can do obviously do so on crossovers, when can you specify a minimum grade (otherwise do not slab) on raw cards too?

I believe you can specify min grade on raw...however you will still be charged the grading fee......so why would you ever not want it slabbed.....first, even if it doesn't meet your specs...it gives you an idea of what grade/and or its worth.
If you do not like or want the grade you can always crack it out...
but....if its for sale it might sell better in the lower grade you expected vs raw.

good question. I don't want to take the time to crack them out, particularly if the submission is large. On a submission of fewer than 10 cards, probably ok.

I'd just be sending in one card that I wouldn't want to be slabbed unless it was going in the appropriate holder.

  • On modern bulk submissions, anything less than a 10 usually doesn't bring back the grading fee. That's when it's better to just specify the min grade. Saves time on cracking when selling them raw.
