Okay... here is the question and it is a hypothetical: If either Mizzou or WV looses, does Georgia or Illinois play in the Rosebowl?

ALLOWED TO BACK INTO THE TITLE GAME FOR SITTING ON THEIR ****

So Georgia and Kansas would also be eliminated by that same reasoning. Now if Hawaii wins tonight should they be in the title game? It's not their
fault they haven't played anyone, no one wants to go to the islands and play them except for the last game of the year.

If they want a true champion just work out some kind of a playoff system already and end the nonsense with
the BCS that is going on now. The "Sports Reporters" on ESPN this morning were talking about it and I have
to agree with them that the BCS system is chaotic.

<< <i>The Big Ten DOES NOT have two Divisions within the Conference so there can be no play-off game. One can not blame OSU for the way the Conference is set up >>
You're right about this. BUT -- I think the BCS and the voters reserve the right to penalize any school in the Big 10 or Pac 10 because of it. And if those conferences get tired of being penalized for not having a championship game and the boost that winning it can bring in the BCS standings, the Pac 10 could add two schools and the Big 10 could add one. Problem solved.

So, the conference should get PENALIZED for not having a championship game? Interesting.
Why is it that Mizzou loses two games to a team they should only have to play once, beat Illinois at Illinois, Illinois lost 2 home games and one on the road for fun and Illinois gets to go to the Rose Bowl? The system is great on all levels isn't it?
Is this fair that Mizzou is not playing in the Rosebowl? Not really... but for years up until the 1973-74 time frame, The Big Ten only sent one team to a post season bowl game and that was the Rosebowl.
