I was listening to a post game interview on the radio, he said he told the QB to spike the ball after centering, and the QB came off the field after the centering. He was very guarded with his words, said there was a miscommunication, so it seems the QB screwed up.

Still bad coaching for not making it perfectly clear what to do. I think there was a video of him before the centering play making a spiking motion to the QB on the sidelines while talking to him
