UD Masterpieces Thomson gold blob

Sorry if this has been mentioned on another thread, but what is the gold circle on this card ? When I first saw it I thought it was a scratch-off for valuable prizes.

It's the top of the guys hat as he's looking up at Bobby Thomson..
  • Thanks. After having scratched one off "I have removed all doubt about being a fool" A.Lincoln

scratch it off and see what you win

on another note, K-mart has blasters of these. picked up a couple this morning to crack later.
Doubt they'd put much good pulls in there though since a hobby box of these is around $100 for 18 packs and these are $19.99 for 8 packs.

  • I have opened about 6 of the blasters and haven't gotten anything but base cards, not even one colored border.

Opened one last night - 40 base cards. No doubt Zep's blasters will yield unbelievable cards as per Zep's normal luck. image

oh well, still got a hobby box of Bowman Heritage to do later

my luck is the same as putting a monkey in front of a keyboard image

buy enough and some good stuff is bounds to come out of it
  • lol it does look like a blob. but its looks like a military hat.
  • It is a hat, but little known to Thomson, Guinan had traveled back in time to witness the "shot heard round the world". Here's a side view of Guinan with her hat.
