" The response to the survey has been overwhelming. Thanks to all of you for taking the time to email us back. Not only have you told us how you feel about the issues in the survey, some of you have also provided us with some excellent ideas for the future. We are planning to let you know the results of the survey, but will need some time to get it all together since so many of you have responded and the emails are still coming in. Thank you in advance for your patience. "

I received this e-mail from David Hall :

Thanks Eric...Our survey results and new policies email should be sent out in the next 5 to 10 days, and now that the issues are resolved we can crank out the weightings and new sets pronto...David

...Sounds to me like: "Hoooie, am I glad that's over! Hey, guys, we're listening, so let's not go through all that again, please... image
  • Regardless of the outcome, no set holder can say that they didn't have the opportunity to voice their opinion on the issues. Somtimes, you need a little anarchy and chaos to bring about change.

voicing an opinion is one thing and beening heard in another. It's like free speech, you have the right to speak out, but I have the right not to listen.

  • ptvetter,

The biggest complaint the weekend that all this came about was that the setholders' opinions were not being listened to. The survey shows that PCGS is interested in listening to out opinion. Now, whether or not they will implement any of our suggestions is an entirely different matter.

  • I wondered when you were going to get a "posse" together and get some real work accomplished. image

I am waiting to see what happens with the Mercury registry set. In a separate thread there was a general tone of agreement concerning the changes and I hope our voice was heard.

It will be very interesting for me to see how the Morgan set comes out, as there are so many different choices on what to include in the set.
