what a great surprise... we got there really early...maybe 7am, set up by 8am and then ........ quiet as a pin drop for several hours.... however much to our shock a fairly nice crowd turned out around noon and we were kept busy all the way until they kicked us out at 6pm..... we had a wonderful day of buying and selling some great coins, saw lots of old faces....
Here are some hints is you are coming to the show.... #1 only running 1 more day SAT there is no Sunday this year,
#2 its upstairs... what a difference between upstairs/downstairs... so its much more enjoyable... we are at tables # 17 and # 18 so stop over and say hi
for the kids there is a nice YN program at noon on Sat.... enjoy!

Larry is anticipating a big turnout for his YN program and is especially excited about his YN bourse tour, which is a fairly recent twist to the YN programs he's been running for more years than anyone can count. At the end of his program, he brings his YN group (usually 20-30 kids) down on the floor to visit dealers who have agreed to offer a quick mini-lesson and quiz at their table. The dealers (off the top of my head Jon, Nirat, Don, and Rich the errors man) are so wonderful with the kids, and the kids love the challenge and the prizes.
Today's YN grading seminar and contest will feature Liberty Head nickels, and the YN presentations include the impact of gold and silver rushes on US coin mintages. In addition there are giveways, tales, pass-arounds such as a webnote and V nickel, a YN auction, and raffle.
If you are a former YN who happens to be in the area and is visiting WESPNEX today, you might want to know that grown-up YN's often pop in to Larry's program. He will treat you like a celebrity and ask you to say a few words to the kids. That's White Plains County Center in White Plains, NY, and the YN program is noon until 3 in the side room, for all ages from preschool to about 18.
