Conder on eBay, rarity: RRRRR

New standard of rarity: "I've never seen one before."

Holey, too! Must be worth a fortune!

I never pay too much for my tokens...but every now and then I may buy them too soon.

Proud (but humbled) "You Suck" Designee, February 2010.

They have all the bases covered:

<< <i>Or maybe it just seems rare to me because i've never seen this type of 1791-94 Conder Token before. >>

<< <i>And what is that on the obverse above the cart? A spaceship??? >>

<< <i>Truly interesting halfpenny token, struck when George Washington was still alive >>

(Actually I have two very respectable conders compared to that one, only mildy dented and/or holed and both thanks to generous forum members image, so technically I guess I'm a conder collector too image)

That does rather resemble a UFO over the plough, now that he mentions it.

I've got one holey Conder (on my vest). A buck-seventy-five doesn't sound too bad for that one, but it's too scary-looking to be vest-worthy.
