Matte Proof Lincolns for the week of 11-20

As I predicted, a significant drop in the numbers this week due to the number at auction. Only 22 compared to 30 last week. Expect another drop in two weeks. One thing that has gone up (again) is the BV of MPL’s ! That is the most across the board increase I have ever seen. Check it out now so you do not choke on your turkey.

I was told that this is a Matte Proof but I don't know enough about them to know if it is or not. Maybe I'll send it in someday and see.

Bmarkers, sorry brother, I don't think that's a matte. I don't see any of the diagnostics. Look for a spike off the shoulder, die polishings in front of the nose, and on the reverse look for a die chip to the side of the m in unum.

That one is an NGC PR66RB that Rare Coin Wholesalers had about 1.5 years ago. I stored the image away and thought this would be a good time to bring it up because the coin is shot out of the slab and you can see those nice wide and sharp rims.
