I need some help with someone explaining some paypal concerns...

It is important and I would like to ask someone who has some experience with selling something internationally. I have a couple key questions and concerns that I can't get answered from the paypal site. If someone would be kind enough to pm so I can ask you I would greatly appreciate it.

Your pretty much not covered by any protection. Get the money. Get the money out of your account. Make sure the money is moved to an account PayPal can't touch. Hope for the best, but be prepared to lose your PayPal privileges if the item gets lost or you are dealing with a scammer.

It's tough because with our dollar at it's lowest point in my lifetime it would be very nice to open up some hockey items to Europe.
  • Josh,

Why would you think theres a problem? I sell all the time to people who don't have a comfirmed paypal address, they always turn out just fine.

Did you use tracking info on the package? If so, they can't do anything, all you have to do is show paypal the tracking info. If you didn't use tracking, then just wait till the people get the package and then tell them to email you once they get it. Once they email you saying they got it just save that email for your records if you needed them later.

I don't see why you should be worried, just email the guy and say, can you please email me once you receive, thank you. Thats all, then be sure to save that email for a little while. Save any receipts that you got at the post office reguardless if you didn't use tracking, the receipt will still have his zip code to prove you shipped something.

Hope thats helped and hope everything turns out ok, but don't worry, your probably worrying for no reasonimage

Shipped (8) PSA cards to Germany, via USPS Priorty Mail International (in a USPS Priorty Flat Rate envelope!), think for $10.50? Got to my German customer within days. His third order!

    Danke! image

But after saying that, the vast majority of graded cards I've sold over the past decade was shipped to the "good olde USA"! There's just not much call for a 1973 Merv Rettenmund PSA 9 in Liverpool, Sidney or Beruit! Oh yeah! I forgot to mention, I printed up the customs/shipping label thru the Paypal site! image
