What criteria does everyone use to determine what cards you send in and what cards you dont?

Just thought it would be fun to hear the different criteria that you all go by to determine if a card is worth sending in or not.

  • If I think it looks pretty... image

That is pretty much it though. I grade for the sake of collecting and having a card that I really LOVE in a nice slab with a grade. It makes me happy!! image

First run through is to find cards as close to 50/50 as possible. Then run through that batch looking at corners. Than about a week later make one more pass through those cards with my 10X loop.
  • I typically plug the card#, year, smr and pop into this formula and if the result is > 10, I submit.

  • Sub all the cards that I have and hope for the "HOPE DIAMOND"image

....... Look at them once pull the "low pop", HOF, and set registry cards I need.
Then order saver II's then look at the again and load the nicest cards.
Then wait till I can afford the Big sub.
    Then wait till $5 special.
    Then look and load order.
    Then wait....
    And wait.... And wait...
    Then "pop" just what I thought...misjudged again..image
