CU member "rats"

You know the ones. Complaining to moderators about certain members, whining about cards to be added to the registry for their personal benefit, and my lastest favorite, ratting out members who are selling sets on the registry. Just a quick thanks for making America, and this forum, what it is.

Isn't it "illegal" to list your cards for sale on the PSA Registry? I'm sure people parade the registry and look for examples to report to the PSA people.....in fact, let me get back to that.

I believe that CU/PSA does not want you to use your set registery to advertise prices and sales there. Like in the comments section of the registery on your set and listing a price for a card in it.

I may be wrong, but I believe the reference is to those who note in the commentary sections of the their registry sets that some or all of the cards in it are available for sale. I've seen some that have prices listed for each individual card. I don't really have a problem with people noting that they're willing to make some deals there, but when you start using the registry for no other purpose than advertising what you have for sale, I think that's an abuse and the more egregious cases should be reported (not that I have, though). I wouldn't want 4SC flooding the registry with their stuff. It would take away the fun of it for people using it the way it's intended.
Can we have some more threads whining about people being banned or maybe some more complaining about the rules?
Get over it and move on.

I post prices in my registry listing, but for a different reason. The price I post is the price I paid for the card (and they are not for sale). If I keep the list on the computer or on a piece of paper at the house, my wife will find it and complain about the money that I am spending. The way that I do it keeps her from seeing it and is just my record of how much money that I have into it.

There was one member that the mods let go on and on and on with crap...who would have thought they gained such low tolerance? Guess they have their favorites. I suppose I never would have guessed that contacting a mod would really give results. If those are the types of things people are whining about, its quite petty and maybe time they get lives and/or go to another board.
Or better yet, the mods start using a bit more common sense of what/who is acceptable and what/who isnt.
No more back door refractors to trim? No patients? In fact I just figured out why you are "card"doctordaddy

"I am angry that so many of the sons of the powerful and well-placed... managed to wangle slots in Reserve and National Guard units. . . Of the many tragedies of Vietnam, this raw class discrimination strikes me as the most damaging to the ideal that all Americans are created equal and owe equal allegiance to their country."
