An even dozen things on eBay all start at .99 with no reserve! Including many well below melt, 1930-B Great Britain trade dollar, 1872 Peruvian un Sol and a Wurttemberg proof 2 mark. Buy 'em all for the shipping of one. Thanks for looking!

    1887 Golden Jubilee by L. C. Wyon
    This is the Official Royal Mint medallion issued to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887. Bronze, 77mm diameter, 225 gms., Mintage of only4257 pieces, struck in high relief. British Historical Medals # 3219

    The medal was engraved by L. C. Wyon after the portrait bust of Sir J. E. Boehm and the reverse design of Sir Frederick Leighton. the reverse shows a figure representing the British Empire enthroned with the sea as background. The other figures represent Commerce, The genius of Electricity and Steam, Industry and Agriculture, Science and Letters and Art. The shields below bear the names of the 5 continents over which the British Empire extends. The medal is virtually as struck and is in it's original Royal Mint plush-lined case of issue. Included is a photocopy of the card insert issued originally with the medal which describes in detail the design and meaning of the reverse. $300
