Conder Tokens

I just retured from Baltimore where I encountered a dealer who had purchased a group of Conder Tokens from a recent Baldwin's Auction - He had about 60+ tokens and I bought about 20 tokens from him (plus another dozen from several other dealers) - Anyone here collect Conder tokens?

I have a few and am looking for the one that symbolizes the hanging of Thomas Paine. If you ever see one for sale please let me know.

I have a couple but don't really collect them. There are several people here that do. Welcome to the darkside.image
  • Into Conders for about 30 years, but turned toward the later (Davis, now Withers) tokens
after pulling together about 800 or so Conders before everything I needed cost over $250 in decent condition. For the last 5-10 years, now that I can afford that kind of investment, I've been quietly cornering the market on Dalton silver. (I wish! It's almost nowhere to be found!) For me, the biggest challenge in all three series has been sticking to type collecting, as the varieties are endless.
Hope you have a great time with them!

There are several regulars here that collect Conders. Aethelred has a nice small collection, and conder tokens have been my collecting focus for the last couple of years.

I've looked at the website - there is no mailing address, nor an application to join - other than that, it's a cool website

Huh. A better question might've been, "Anyone here NOT collect Conder tokens?" image

I'm one of the few; the last stubborn holdouts. Oh, I've been plenty tempted many times. But so far I have resisted. image
