Have you ever contributed a coin photo to wikipedia?

I was just browsing some of the coin articles over at Wikipedia and I was surprised to see how poor many of the coin photos were. I was wondering if any of you have contributed your coin images to an article. If anyone on the web is in a position to improve the coin images at wikipedia, its forum members from here and across the street.

Much of that publication is as good as the scholarship that goes into it – in order words: "Crapipedia." The coin images are certainly consistent with the error-filled, frequently biased text.

That may be the case for some articles (political ones in particular); but, from what I understand, the accuracy of wikipedia is on par with that of any of the other online encyclopedias (e.g., britannica). Is wikipedia useful for "real" research? Probably not, except perhaps as a jumping off point to get ideas for doing real literature searches. Is wikipedia useful for general topic browsing? Probably as much as any other encyclopedia.
