How long does reholder service take?

I am going to be in Baltimore for a short time and need to have a PCGS coin reholdered? Does it take mimutes? hours? days? Thanks.
I collect circulated U.S. silver

I have had a number of PCGS coins reholdered in the past. Leadtime varies. In general, I would expect that you will be without your coins for a minimum of 3 weeks. Two weeks transit (to and from) and at least a week to get the job done. I am not sure if you submit at a show whether the leadtime is impacted - it just costs less.

Only once have I submitted a coin for reholder at a show - this was a coin that was a mechanical error. PCGS did reholder it the same day, but it was clear to me that this speedy turnaround was not the norm at that time.

All of my submissions were over 2 years ago. Perhaps the reholder time has improved in the same fashion as the grading leadtimes. I hope so.

Depending on the show you can pay an extra $5 to have it done that day. (Cheaper than return shipping)

I think all show reholders are $10 if its done during the show. $5 if submitted at the show but sent to California.
