The Official 1916 Famous and Barr Co Thread...

This is a brand new set listed in the registry...the Famous and Barr's are one of several backs that can be found on the 1915-1916 Sporting News (M101-5 and 101-4) ...I thought it would be fun to see if this set could be completed....not all of the existing cards are slabbed yet, making this even more difficult. The First Famous and Barr set is now LIVE !!

    It is a nice set...if you go after it good luck....the toughest thing would be trying to complete this set in PSA slabs...as most of these are in SGC slabs.

    well so far i have cracked out 2 sgc Famous and Barr's and crossed them over successfully.....

    2 things..SGC cases crack very easy....

    and SGC cards usually sell at a "sale Price" compared to PSA...so the buy SGC, crack and submit to PSA is a good method ...

    added another card to the set, a PSA 6, highest graded......these are tougher to come by than i thought....anyone have any they want to trade?
