Although I was not expecting 9's all the way across I was thinking that I had some decent shots at 9's and I thought mostly 8's. I knew the Theisman was off center but thought it would be a 7 must have surface wrinkle. I also thought the Namath had a shot at a 7. Taylor and Blanda were as expected. I asked for no qualifiers so the Taylor OC was strange. Somewhat disappointed. If anyone could share their thoughts I would appreciate it

I make it a habit to split submissions if I expect different grades. It has always seemed to me that if I put some known marginal material in the batch none of the cards get the benefit of the doubt. If it is all straight high end material then they do. So I never include marginal cards and high end cards in the same sub. Maybe superstition but it is a practice I stick too.

Did you look over your cards with a 10x loupe? My first submission looked about the same as yours, then i really started to look over the cards to get better. The loupe helps a ton as a lot of corner wear that makes an 8 a 9 is only seen with it, imo.

Good luck on the next sub, the good news is nearly everyone I know has gotten a lot better on their second sub.
