I tried my best, but lost anyway...please console me

......and tell me these are quite common and can be readily found as this is the only one I have ever seen and I was unsuccessful in my efforts to win it
I just didn't have deep enough pockets and with each successive bid I got further and further in over my head but it was just one of those items I just had to have
Does anyone else think this document is uber cool???

I'd be willing to bet, yes.
It follows the similar format of all the other documents I've seen from the other Mints. The ink and paper are also correct.
Extremely cool. If there is a single thign I've learned from buying numismatic related Americana on ebay, it's that if you really want it, you have to bid very, very strong. The value of this type of stuff has bounced up lately.
Feel better yet?
<< <i>It looks artificially toned to me. Maybe even cleaned.

The seller states in his auction that this is rarer then chicken teeth
<< <i>Remember the last time I had to console you?

<< <i>You lost out to Jeff Oxman, so my guess is that he had a nuclear bid on the thing because he, too, just had to have it. >>
