Post a Numismatic Dog™, and tell us a little bit about it...
We always marvel at the stellar coins that are seen on these boards, so I figure let's have a little show and tell about Numismatic Dogs™. Here is a Dog™ that I used to own. It is a 1893-S Eagle, and believe it or not, it was graded MS63. The picture is accurate. I bought it very early in my collecting career when I was a mere Numismatic Pup™ and didn't know any better. I bought it sight unseen online from a big auction house, and I marveled at the fact that I won the coin at such a "steal of a price". When I got the coin in hand, I realized why I got it for a song. I ended up selling it to a dealer less than a year later.

And to keep the theme going, here is the newest addition to the Longacre clan. My beloved greyhound, Gus, passed away a few months ago. His replacement, Henry, is not as leggy, but is a fine hound indeed:
