Smoething good may come out of this little hassle. The Gentleman has 27 more BRITISH Galvanos and I am meeting him this weekend to look them over for possible addition to my collection.

Well, I got back from my meeting. I walked away smiling with 12 Galvanos including a 1838 Victoria Coronation Obverse by Pistrucci.

Imagine if you will Pistrucci handing this galvano to Victoria for approval before the dies were cut. That is a tease, pictures to follow.

He had about 40 total, 11 were from other countries, some nice German and Napoleon that he is going to put on ebay. All nice stuff if your interested in this in between medal form for a collection expander. Unique stuff, but a small collector community for now. Much like pattern pieces were up to recently.
