Does Anyone Collect Sports Team Schedules?

image

Here's a Yankee schedule - after the WS win in 1977, the Yanks fans were flying high - and Reggie got his candybar!

Die cutting skeds in the shape of a FB was a clever move IMO.

Back in the 70s, we wrote the teams and they sent us a packet - I don't do it anymore, so I'm not sure what they send.

But back then, ya got team photos, skeds, bumper stickers, TV magnets - just to name a few.

Anyone else send away?

I did that as well...now an email can be sent to the teams to get the Fan Packs.
I collect Seattle Pilots autographs, 1969 Topps autographs, Signed Mickey Mantle Home Run History cards and have a JC Martin collection (he was my college Baseball coach)

Jay Wolt collects them- everytime I"m at a stadium I pick up a handful for him. He's got a pretty massive collection.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

I did it too in the early 1970's, sent to all the teams in every league. Still have my ABA and WHA envelopes somewhere in my parents house. I stuck the decals and stickers on my school notebooks. Everyday we would wait for the mailman to come. If you got a thin envelope, you knew it was just a pricelist and maybe a sked. If you got a large 8x10 envelope, you knew something good was inside. I remember alot of the NFL teams sent catalogues from NFL Properties.
