Who's selling BIG Jeffersons on ebay?

BigDowgieBigDowgie Posts: 1,778 ✭✭✭✭
How many of you would pull out $14,000 for a coin site unseen? This seller has a whole pile of 1954-S where PCGS graders made a few mistakes, but doesn't spend the time disputing or sending in a second time. The seller only sends coins once to PCGS and offers market discounts for the next owner take care of that. You just have to pay the "FS" price because he knows better. Oh, by the way, must not own a camera, as there are no pictures to share these great wonders! Oh yes, don't forget, if you make a couple more 54-S full steppers in 65 or 66, prices start coming down.

PCGS MS66 (FS) - $14,000
Item number: 200172628718

Takers anyone? Let's get the bidding started!

Interesting since that last thing showing feedback that was sold was this....

    Just Novels....

Not ONE coin item, purchased or sold by this seller.

Probably does not realize that he/she is selling this coin....

From what I can see from the pics on a couple of the ICG MS67 graded coins, there are numerous marks. One has a very noticable nick by the eye. There's die erosion in hair above ear on another and the strikes appear to be less than full relief (FR)!
Much can be learned about the qualities of the PCGS graded coins from reading how the seller descibed the ICG coins. Somewhat optimistic. IMO.

    Well Dang!

I got some MS70's that PCGS made a "mistake" on!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I believe in this case, the seller may be a jillass if my memmory serves me right! But I could be wrong. image But in his or her defense, if any of those 1954-S nickels had an EDS or perhaps a full relief strike and had at least 3 qualities about it, some of those prices wouldn't be too far off....IMO!
