Yes, did you notice that? I am paying slightly over melt for a bunch of the dates. And, on many days, I am the highest buyer at my posted levels. Other days, the buys move "cat and mouse" and perhaps I am a couple dollars per ounce behind high bid.

And, interestingly, selling back proof Plat in capsules or slabs to the top bullion buyers, top bid is often $5-$15/oz back of spot!

I am equally surprised most of these coins continue to sell for less than current mint issue price for the 2007's. The Mintages on many of these coins are among the lowest of all modern coins. Please check out my thread on the US Coin Forum concerning Proof Platinum.

Well, going by your zip (I took a wild guess at it but I think I am about right ), to Mitch's, it came out to $19.50 (for a 1 1/2lb package....I have heard the one from the mint is 13 ounces so I allowed a little extra for a box and packaging.....not sure if you can do any flat rate with express like you can with priority) and then insuring it for $2000, it comes out to a total of: $25.65
