Lord the hype. I have two questions. If you haven't done anything to the box, how do you KNOW there will at least be a cent in it?? How many boxes did cheerios produce and sell for the 5500 sacs to be in??

This is a great keepsake or a great piece to anyone's coin collection. There were only 10,000,000 made.

OK, so there is a chance of finding THE golden dollar; (You could also find a golden dollar coin winner (in 1 in 2000 boxes); which is what, .05%?

Coin World reported that only 5,500 dollars were inserted in the boxes. Also only 26 have surfaced for certifatcation
Which means there are roughly 5,474 in circulation.

Yes, a bit of hype, but laid out in a factual manner.

Good luck in your auction, and can you please put eBay on the title.

  • BRdude,

I assume there is at least a cent in the box as it states on the box "1 Free inside first pennies of the new millennium you could also win $1 or $100 in new golden dollar coins" All I know is what is stated in the auction and what I read in Coin World

    Michael,

I am not equating hype as deception, and folks bidding on your auction probably know the odds.
Still, a cool box to have if your a Sac collector.

If a member here wins the auction & find out that there is a Sac in there, don't tell Michael, but let everyone else know! image
