I'm on cable and I'm seeing it a little slow too. What I've noticed lately is that the messages are slow to load and it will show you have a new message in your inbox for hours after you're read it. I think they need to work on their programming. --Jerry

What browser do you use?
Try Firefox. ebay works well with it.
Safari and earthlink will go to sleep on ebay sometimes.

I agree. Firefox is what I use and don't have any problems with it. I have had some problems with a few other browsers.

i'm using internet explorer....its always worked fast before 2 days ago....it seems to be quite a bit better today.

Are you hitting your browsers refresh button, or the little blue refresh button near the current bid price on the auction page. The later only refreshes the time and is lightning fast (1 sec). Your browser refreshs the whole page and can be slow if the server is slow.
